2. We can be more productive by using each other's strengths creating collaborative atmosphere.
3. Butting heads the potential concern would be that the group would suffer from division and therefore would ultimately affect student success and team.
Did You Know?
1. Skills are changing, they are life long learners to be successful.
2. As educators we should not be static and our students should not be either but we gave them the basic foundations to get started in their life long learning process.
3. We may be teachers but we are also learners with them and we have to stay current.
4. We have to provide programs that are rigorous and relevant to their educational needs.
Our role changes within the classroom from traditional teacher to collaborative learner with student.
Minimize the traditional format and make them owners of their own quest.
Advertisements, internet, guest speakers, phones calls and any means of technology available. A continuous line of communication.
5.Together our top strengths can enhance our mission and vision by collaborating using the best of the best to benefit our students.
Now that we are aware of our strengths we can work together towards the common goal of meeting future challenges and making the students strengths work. Our group work today, that there are power in numbers and a variety of strengths.
After reviewing our thoughts from our previous meeting we found that:
1. we always try to teach with our strengths however human nature can get in the way and shift our focus
2. Time, Time, Time is NOT on our side!
